Besides the range of asynchronous and synchronous reluctance motors, I.S.G.E.V. manufactures also specific products for special applications such as godet units for synthetic fibers. Basing on the technology of low frequency, the godet cylinder is heated by induction through a laminar inductor supplied at 50-60 Hz.
The unit is available with one temperature zone or in multizone version; obviously the multizone version offers a better heat surface profile. Maximum working temperature is 200°C.
The godet has a special transmitter for reading the temperature of every single temperature zone. The godet cylinder is made of steel and the surface can be with ceramic or chrome finish.

The motor for the godet cylinder is made of steel and is cooled by an axial fan placed at the back, so that the air flow also cools the temperature transmitter.
Running at higher temperatures, the drive end bearing can be cooled through a cooling system with forced circulation of refrigerant.
Besides providing the standard godet series, I.S.G.E.V. can also project custom-built versions.
